I am glad you liked the computer-go interface at 361points.com!
There is also a capture-go program there as well, that may be more suitable for kids who begin to play Go, usually for a short while (kids learn fast! - and the capture-go engine isn't too strong to start with)
I'd like to teach my kids Alyssa (6 8 yrs) and Richard (4 6 yrs) how to play Chess and Go. I face two challenges: I'm not very good at either game myself and I have no clue how to teach them. I'll try to record our progress, what worked and what didn't work. I'd be thrilled if they became accomplished players but my goal is really to share my love of strategy games with them.
I learned chess in high school and my peak rating was roughly USCF 1450 equivalent. I started playing Go in October, 2007. I work as a financial risk manager at an investment bank.
